Khaltaro valley
Khaltaro valley in greater Haramosh valley is truly a hidden gem of the Gilgit Baltistan region. Haramosh valley is in the Gilgit district and lies on Skardu road an 2 hours drive from Gilgit city. The main attractions of Khaltaro valley include Khun meadows (from where one can see Nanga Parbat, Haramosh-1, Malubiting, Bilchar Dobani, and many other famous peaks on a clear day) and 7 waterfalls at the end of the valley.
Rakhan Gali
This is a high pass (4548m) which connects Bagrote valley with Khaltaro valley in Haramosh. The ascent and descent on both sides is quite steep and one can expect snow at the pass especially in early summer season.

Itinerary:
Itinerary for just Khaltaro valley Option:
Day 00 (Monday 3rd July)
– At 09:00 pm pick up participants from Islamabad. Traveling to Gilgit via Hazara Expressway. Overnight in traveling.
Day 01 (Tuesday 4th July)
-Breakfast on the way. Lunch on the way. Reached Sassi. Dinner and night stay in rooms/camps at Sassi Hotel.
Day 02 (Wednesday 5th July)
– Breakfast at Sassi. Jeep ride to Khaltaro. Start Trekking towards Khun meadows. No lunch on this day instead daypacks will be served. Reach Khun meadows and back to the campsite for Dinner and night stay in camps at Khun meadows.
Day 03 (Thursday 6th July)
– Breakfast at Khun meadows. Trek to Pamiri. No lunch on this day instead daypacks will be served. Dinner and night stay in camps at Pamiri.
Day 04 (Friday 7th July)
– Breakfast at Pamiri. Explore 7 waterfalls. Hike to Rayjut meadows. Trek back to Pamiri/Dorchan. No lunch on this day instead daypacks will be served. Dinner and night stay in camps at Pamiri.
Day 05 (Saturday 8th July)
– Breakfast at Pamiri/Dorchan. Trek back to Khaltaro Jeep point. Jeep ride to Sassi. Drive to Jaglot/Chilas, Dinner and night stay at Jaglot/Chilas.
Day 06 (Sunday 9th July)
– Early morning depart for Islamabad. Breakfast at Chilas/Besal. Lunch on the way. Reach Islamabad around 10pm.
Itinerary for Rakhan Gali Option:

– Breakfast at Pamiri. Start excursion towards Rakhan Gali. No lunch on this day instead daypacks will be served. Dinner and night stay in camps at Gargoo, Bagrote valley.
Day 05 (Saturday 8th July)
– Breakfast at Gargoo. Trek towards Bagrote village. Jeep ride to Gilgit/Jaglot. Dinner and night stay at Jaglot/Chilas.
Day 06 (Sunday 9th July)
– Early morning depart for Islamabad. Breakfast at Chilas/Besal. Lunch on the way. Reach Islamabad around 10pm.
